When do you need a Tire Replacement?
Tread Depth
If the tread depth is less than 2/32 of an inch, it’s time to replace the tires. Use a tread depth gauge or the penny test to check the depth of your tire treads.
Uneven Wear
If the wear is significantly more on one side or if you see bald spots, it could indicate alignment issues or other problems, and it might be time to replace the tires. Make sure to inspect your tires for uneven wear patterns.
Cracks or Bulges
Cracks and bulges can indicate damage that compromises the tire’s integrity. If you notice any visible cracks, cuts, or bulges, it may be time for new tires.
Age of the Tires
Tires should generally be replaced every 6 to 10 years, regardless of tread wear. Check the manufacturing date on the tire sidewall for age information.
Reduced Traction
If you notice your vehicle slipping or having reduced grip in wet or slippery conditions, it may be a sign that your tires are worn out and need replacing.
Vibration or Noise
Excessive vibration or unusual noises could indicate issues with your tires. If your car is experiencing these symptoms, we recommend you have your tires inspected by our expert technicians.
